Some dude from yahoo answers had a cool question. Now, its obvious he hasnt taken my secret quiz, but ignore that, and focus on his question, and how I answer it.
Question:
Why do some women want men to show chivalry towards them? When men are being discriminated against by women? The way things are going, men will pushing women out of the way soon on the streets and and being as rude as possible without the police getting involved.
You can’t have it both ways women, you treat us like sh.t and we react by treating you the same way (well worse actually as we are bigger and stronger than you).
My answer:
Look, chivalry doesn’t mean that you have to be her doormat. You can be a dominant male and show chivalry at the same time.
You are right on some points though. Women are treating men worse as time progresses. But, when you look at the situation more closely, you will see that it is the fault of men after all. Men create the media where they show that it’s okay for men to beg women, to please women, to do anything for a woman, and to utterly humiliate themselves in front of women.
Most men accept that and they act accordingly. Men need to start looking after themselves and not letting women boss them around. A woman won’t question a dominant man. She won’t go pushing him around. On the other hand, she won’t go telling a weak man to act stronger. Women are very adaptable, they go along with whatever.

Actually what I have seen has been the opposite. Men have become incredibly pussified in Western civilization. At this rate it will be mandatory for men to sit down while peeing and women to stand up. l
It would be nice to see men let the door close just as women are assuming we will hold the doors open for them. Women wouldn’t be able to handle a day being treated as a true “man”.
it’s funny that you say women like we’re all the same. As for your question about the chivalry thing, its because people like politeness. Everyone likes to hear please and thank you, have the door help open for them etc. Maybe women just don’t like you?… nah, it couldn’t be with the charming personality you so obviously have.
I don’t care if men are chivalrous. I just expect people of both sexes to have good manners–not slam the door in my face if I’m right behind them, for example. I don’t know why any man would be bothered by another man’s “chivalrous” behavior unless he doesn’t like the way he looks in comparison.
I want everyone to be polite to me, not just dudes. It’s called manners, learn some.
I can honestly say I don’t care if you never open a door for me or offer a seat ever again if I can just have a chance to raise in my career on the basis of my ability. A seat became free on the train yesterday and a woman asked a man if he would like it because he was nearer and had a heavy case and got an offended “No thank you!” Chivalry is pretending women are weak and incapable. Manners belong to both genders.
I want men to show chivalry to me because I do to them. It’s a two-way street, my friend.

We demand chivalry because we deserve it. We go through agonies to carry on the human race, and we have also been dominated by men for millenia.
We have every right to demand chivalry.
